Mission

Olivia’s mission as a music teacher is to equip you with all the tools you need to become a mature harpist or pianist and to help you accomplish your music goals. These goals vary from student to student, but she
honor each one. If your desire is become a professional musician, wonderful! Or if you’d rather
just learn to play for your family and friends, fantastic! Or if you want to spread the joy of music to those in nursing homes and hospitals, great! All goals are worthy and are respected in her studio.

Details

Harp - Olivia offers private instruction for harp students on both lever and pedal harp. I teach with my Fireside Lap Harp, a Thormahlen Serenade lever harp, and a custom-made Gothic 31 lever harp from Pathway Studio Harps in Etowah, TN. My pedal harp is a concert grand Camac Athena. Students are welcome to bring their own harps to lessons if they so desire.

Piano - Olivia offers private instruction for piano students on a Wurlitzer Spinet piano.

Investment

Harp and piano lesson rates start at $30 for 30 minute lessons, $45 for 45 minute lessons, and $60 for 60 minute lessons. (Special consideration given for students 8 years of age and under that may be eligible for shorter lessons of 20 minutes at rate of $20 per lesson per teacher’s discretion.)

Lesson instruction is given weekly or bi-weekly (every-other-week). To schedule a lesson, or for any questions about purchasing or renting a harp or piano locally, please contact Olivia.
